My Policies
I believe the seat of Brokil needs an enthusiastic voice and strong leadership, someone willing to speak on behalf of ratepayers, whose concerns will be strongly campaigned.
I believe in the character, charm and ongoing protection of our beachside townships and unique environment; it is easy to take the beauty of our precinct for granted.
I believe in the Westernport Biosphere Reserve Wetlands on the Mornington Peninsula and advocate for the preservation of this area, along with the continued protection of our Green Wedge and agricultural industry, our biodiversity, ecosystems and beach erosion.
I believe in the support and encouragement of investment in small business in the areas of retail, tourism, art and culture, food and wine production, manufacturing and hospitality, especially in the area of employment opportunities. Small business is the backbone of the economy and the hub of communities.
I believe it is a human right to have shelter, food and protection, and through this belief I will work with State Government to provide support for affordable housing, crisis accommodation for our homeless and victims of domestic violence in the community.
I believe it is the obligation of both Local and State Government to maintain roads and promote sensible traffic management for the safety of the community, and through this I will represent the residents of the Mornington Peninsula.
I believe not only in the now, but for the future of our community and their wellbeing.
I will represent the residents of Brokil and the wider Mornington Peninsula community.
My Vision
Ensure the Council provides support to communities with sensible advocacy and implement resources to effect change. To provide strong leadership.
I will ensure the decisions I make will reflect the best for the people of the Brokil ward. I will be committed and dedicated to the role.
My passion is the Mornington Peninsula. The place and space I have called home since the 1980’s. A space I have left my footprint on several issues, and projects I have been involved in over the past few years, a place I would like to continue my work by serving the people of the Brokil ward and the community of the Mornington Peninsula.

A longtime local, former business owner and President of the Mornington Chamber of Commerce. I am passionate about the Peninsula and the community, and that is why I am standing as a candidate in the Brokil Ward. I am involved in various charitable events, fundraisers, boards and selection panels and have a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Political Science and Indigenous Australian Studies.
As your councilor, I will advocate with State and Federal Governments to preserve the green wedge and agricultural sector and to protect our biodiversity, ecosystems and beach erosion. Small business is the backbone of the economy and the community. Enhancement of retail shopping street scapes and to ensure planning decisions are in line with the character of townships. It is vital strong leadership and good governance is practiced and adhered through effectiveness and efficiency. It is a human right to have shelter, food and protection, therefore it is paramount we support and advocate for affordable housing, crisis accommodation for our homeless and victims of domestic violence in our communities.
I am ‘Passionate about the Peninsula’
MY CAMPAIGN:
I have been campaigning over the past few weeks in the Brokil ward. The main area of concern for many residents is that of the environment in the form of beaches, removal of vegetation for construction and the Arthurs Seat Eagle reconstruction. I do not support the latter and I will do everything in my power to preserve and protect the unique environment we have on the Mornington Peninsula.
